Videography and editing are both crucial crafts, but what’s even more important is how they work together in harmony. When filming movies or music videos, the seamless blend of on-screen action and background music is absolutely key. Music amplifies the drama, drawing attention to every moment. Without the right sound, a character’s gesture might go unnoticed. With this in mind, I aimed to create those kinds of effects in the short documentary-style video below. I’ll let you judge how well I pulled it off—feel free to share your thoughts in the comments.
I shot and edited this project for friends in a student organization, and it was a true labor of love. I felt immense pride and joy working on this for students from CCX (Christian Student Fellowship, http://ccx.org.ua/), as I deeply connected with the event’s energy. The project took place in Kharkov and was strikingly unique in its format: a theatrical performance called Mark Drama, based on the Gospel of Mark, but performed without a traditional stage. This setup made the experience raw and intense, pulling the audience even closer to the story.

A creative photographer, videographer, author of projects and just a pleasant conversationalist. If you don't have a story, I'll create one for you.
